Canoes:

  1. How many people can ride in a canoe? Our canoes have two seats so two paddlers are ideal. However, a small child is allowed as a third person.
  2. What time should I arrive? For the best experiece, please arrive 30 minutes prior to reserved time. Last shuttle for Henderson Ford leaves at 2pm. Last shuttle for Katfish leaves at 10am. Last shuttle for Paragon leaves at 9am.
  3. Is there an age limit? Children must be a minumum of 50 lbs. Our smallest life jackets/personal floatation device (PFD) is for 50 lbs.
  4. Do I need a reservation? Reservations are recommended and you will receive a discount when scheduled three days or more in advanced.
  5. Will you transport my privately owned canoe? Yes, we will. View Rates page for pricing.
  6. What is included for the price I'm paying? Canoe rental, 2 life vests, 2 paddles and transportation.
  7. What kind of canoes do you rent? We are proud to rent Old Towne canoes.
  8. Can I bring a pet? No. Insurance does not allow for pets.

Kayaks:

  1. Do you have kayaks? Yes, we are proud to have sit-in and sit-on Emotion kayaks.
  2. Do I need any special skills to kayak? No special skills are needed for kayaks. Our sit-on kayaks are simple to paddle. Kayaks are actually more stable than canoes as you sit lower in the water.
